Jamia Darul Falah is an international-standard religious institution with the primary goal of delivering Islamic education integrated with the national curriculum. Aligned with the demands and requisites of the contemporary era, the Jamia fosters the cultivation of knowledge (ilm), good deeds (amal), and the development of virtuous character. The overarching objective is to nurture a cohort of proficient and competent citizens who are equipped to confront the forthcoming challenges. Acquiring the basic knowledge of the Quran and the Sunnah is an imperative for all Muslims. Additionally, the acquisition of knowledge concerning worldly matters is also vital. However, the educational framework in Bangladesh frequently overlooks religious education, while the Madrasah education system exhibits gaps in the provision of worldly education. Jamia Darul Falah serves as a modest endeavor to address these needs, guided by the wisdom of Islamic elders. This initiative seamlessly harmonizes conventional education with mainstream Islamic education. This approach not only produces practicing scholars, hafizul-Quran (those who have memorized the Quran), and Islamic preachers, but also prepares students for advanced studies in esteemed Colleges and Universities.
Jamia Darul Falah was founded on 1st May, 2016. Presently, the Jamia's academic initiatives are being operated within a rented premises situated near East Mirabazar, Tamabil Road, Sylhet.
Alhamdulillah, a deed of agreement, along with the receipt of carnest money, was executed in February 2023 for the purchase of 150 decimal land (approximately 65,000 square feet) intended for Jamia Darul Falah's permanent campus at Mirerchak, within the ward no.31 of Sylhet City Corporation. This endeavor is estimated to cost approximately Bangladeshi Taka 3 crores. Moreover, a deed of conveyance has been duly prepared for 30.13 decimals (13,125 sq. feet) of the aforementioned land. The development of the long-awaited permanent campus of the Jamia is set to transpire on this acquired land, Insha' Allah.
Our proposed educational institution is designed to provide comprehensive facilities for both academic and religious learning. It houses administrative offices, an auditorium, student and public libraries, a media center and various other facilities. Separate academic buildings are designated for male and female students, each madrasa is equipped with teaching facilities up to the highest class, vocational training programs, research facilities, ICT centers and computer labs. It ensures that gender-specific educational needs are met while fostering an inclusive learning environment. Additionally, our mosque serves as a center for religious activities, offering programs such as Quran learning courses, Maktab for school-going children, Darsul-Quran and Darsul-Hadith sessions and family counselling. It also provides training programs for imams, muezzins and teachers, promoting leadership development and community involvement. For student accommodation, we provide modern hostels, which ensure a conducive environment for learning and personal growth. Overall, our institution aims to foster both academic excellence and spiritual development, meet diverse educational needs and develop a holistic approach to learning.

Note: The Jamia will gradually increase the number of classes by adding a two-year graduation program and a one-year Takmeel (Master's) program.
Jamia Darul Falah, an exceptional Islamic educational Institute, was founded in the heart of Sylhet on 1st May 2016. With a keen awareness to fulfil the demands and requirements of the era, the institution has, since its inception, been dedicated to imparting knowledge of Islam and preparing proficient scholars through a curriculum that combines Islamic education with the national curriculum. Currently, the Jamia accommodates approximately 250 students across various departments and grade levels, including the Hifzul-Quran department and classes from grade 1 to 12. These students have been receiving comprehensive religious education under the direct guidance of 18 skilled and experienced teachers. The majority of the students reside in the Madrasah's hostel, which offers standard residential facilities. It is a great pleasure to share that 50 of them have already successfully memorized the Holy Quran. Furthermore, they have garnered attention from discerning members of society by achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the final examinations of the Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh, also known as, Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasah Education Board. In addition, the students of Jamia Darul Falah have achieved numerous awards, including 1st prizes in several local and national Hifzul-Quran competitions, as well as recognition from various TV channels. Due to these accomplishments and the opening of new classes, there has been a consistent increase in the number of students at Jamia. This growth has posed challenges for the institution in terms of providing academic and residential facilities to all within the confines of the rented premises.
In light of this situation, the decision has been made to transition to a permanent campus that can support the institution's future plans. To this end, a deed of agreement, along with the receipt of carnest money, was executed in February 2023 for the purchase of 150 decimal land (approximately 65,000 square feet) intended for Jamia Darul Falah's permanent campus at Mirerchak, within the ward no.31 of Sylhet City Corporation. This endeavor is estimated to cost approximately Bangladeshi Taka 3 crores. Moreover, a deed of conveyance has been duly prepared for 30.13 decimals (13,125 sq. feet) of the aforementioned land. The development of the long-awaited permanent campus of the Jamia is set to transpire on this acquired land, inshaAllah.
To facilitate the acquisition of land, construction of different buildings for the permanent campus, and the attainment of substantial future objectives, a comprehensive 10-year project proposal has been presented. Acknowledging the scale of this monumental undertaking, we recognize that this endeavor transcends individual capabilities. It is only through divine assistance and the collective generosity and support of the Muslim community that these aspirations can be materialized. This initiative affords you a unique opportunity to invest your wealth in a project that promises boundless rewards both in this world and in the Hereafter. In the words of Al-Quran and As-Sunnah, this form of benevolent investment is known as Sadaqah Jariyah." "When a man dies all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him." Hence, we sincerely urge you to recognize the significance of contributing to the enduring act of Sadaqah Jariyah by generously donating a meaningful portion of your resources to the esteemed endeavor of establishing an internationally-recognized Islamic institution. May Allah give us strength and aid us in creating a center for Islamic education through your support and benevolent contributions. May Allah shower His rewards upon all of us. "Ameen".
